Louisville Budget Committee advances $750M Norton Healthcare bonds and FY 2026-2027 budgets

The Louisville Budget Committee recommended approval of $750 million in revenue bonds for Norton Healthcare and advanced the amended FY 2026-2027 operating and capital budgets to the full Metro Council during its June 22 meeting.

The Board of Zoning Adjustment was scheduled to hold public hearings on multiple property-specific requests, including a variance for side yard setback at 57 Indian Hills Trail, a conditional use permit for an accessory dwelling unit at 11811 Mahogany Drive, and conditional use permits for short-term rentals at 1601 Newburg Rd and 1535 S 32nd St. The board was also to decide on a modified conditional use permit for First Baptist Church of Fairdale at 413 Fairdale Rd and a variance for fence height and setback at 4904 Hyde Park Dr.

Environmental Trust Oversight Board

The Louisville/Jefferson County Environmental Trust Oversight Board was scheduled to review conservation easement monitoring visits at several locations, including Culbertson Conservation Easement (8401 Dawson Hill Road) and Holiday Farm Conservation Easement (3800 Shiloh Lane). Members were also to discuss HB542, an act relating to eminent domain, and consider proposed bylaw updates.
