Macon-Bibb Pension Boards Approve Over $113,000 in Invoices; Commissioners to Vote on $28.3M Arena Change Order
Three Macon-Bibb County pension boards met July 7 and authorized more than $113,000 in consulting and investment invoices, while the Board of Commissioners is set to consider a $28.26 million change order for the Macon Arena project at its July 21 meeting.

Fire and Police Pension Board
The Macon-Bibb Fire and Police Employees' Retirement System Board authorized payment of two Mariner Institutional, LLC invoices, each for $23,750.00, totaling $47,500. The board also approved back-pay motions for three retirees: Stewart Cronin for nine months, Billy McCullough for twelve months, and Wesley Daniels for fourteen months. The board ordered the 2027 actuary report and approved retirement benefits for several long-serving employees.
Macon Pension Plan (Division A)
The Macon Pension Plan (Division A) board approved its meeting agenda and the May 5, 2026 minutes. The agenda approval was moved by Board Member Woody and seconded by Board Member Toliver; the minutes approval was moved by Board Member Gaudet and seconded by Board Member Woody. The Macon-Bibb Pension Trustees Board approved minutes from its June 2, 2026 meeting and authorized three invoices totaling $65,652.30:
- Mariner Institutional invoices: $37,500
- Richmond invoice: $16,402
- Segall Bryant & Hamill invoice: $11,748.30
The board received a presentation on investment performance and noted no retirements.
