Millcreek Council considers St. Mark's Hospital parking lot rezoning, $200K contribution
The Millcreek City Council at its Aug. 10 meeting took up a rezoning and development agreement for a parking lot serving St. Mark's Hospital, along with two proposed monetary contributions. No final decisions have been confirmed; meeting minutes have not yet been published.
City Council considers hospital parking lot rezoning
The council considered two ordinances related to a parking lot for St. Mark's Hospital. Ordinance 26-59 would rezone property at 3496 S 1100 E and 1059 E 3950 S to Commercial (C), with a condition limiting uses to a parking lot. Ordinance 26-60 would approve a development agreement for that parking lot. The council also considered Ordinance 26-58, which would amend vehicular access and street development requirements.
Proposed contributions
The council held public hearings on two monetary contributions: up to $200,000 to the Asian Association of Utah and up to $5,000 for the Millcreek City 9/11 Day of Service. Studies on the appropriations were available for review at City Hall. The meeting was live streamed, and public comments were accepted online.
