Smyrna council set to vote on $608,205 aquatic facility change order as late-July meeting outcomes await minutes

The most consequential dollar item now on the table is a $608,205.67 change order for the Tolleson Aquatic Facility Project, scheduled for the August 3 council meeting.
Millage rate and council actions (July 20)
The July 20 Mayor and Council meeting agenda included the third public hearing and adoption of the 2026 millage rate (ATH2026-091). A separate second public hearing on the millage rate was also held that day at City Hall, 2800 King Street SE, with no vote scheduled.
