Tuckahoe Board approves $509,579 in vouchers and shared-service agreements; Planning Board reviews five Marbledale Road projects
The Tuckahoe Board of Trustees approved $509,579.12 in vouchers and several inter-municipal service agreements covering street resurfacing, curb replacement, and solid waste disposal at its July 20 meeting. All items passed by unanimous vote.
Board of Trustees: Shared services and vouchers approved
The Board approved three inter-municipal agreements (IMAs), each by 5-0 votes: an IMA with the Town of Eastchester for sidewalk and curb replacements; an IMA with Eastchester, Bronxville, and school districts for street resurfacing; and an IMA extension with Westchester County for solid waste disposal.
The Board also approved a cybersecurity software agreement with NYS ITS and Homeland Security (5-0), a license agreement for masonry pillars at 14 Governors Road (4-0), and a $2,100 rental cost waiver for the Eastchester-Tuckahoe Chamber of Commerce (4-0).
A public hearing was set for September 14, 2026, regarding residency requirements for appointed officers (4-0). The $509,579.12 voucher approval passed 5-0.
Planning Board: Five site plans under review
The Planning Board met July 21 to review five site plan applications along Marbledale Road and Yonkers Avenue. Minutes have not yet been published, so outcomes are not yet confirmed.
85-93 Marbledale Road — Self-storage facility: Poverni Sheikh Group submitted plans for a 111,560 sq ft self-storage facility with 3,390 sq ft of retail space. The board was expected to consider a SEQRA Negative Declaration and conditional site plan approval. Submitted materials include engineering site plans, a stormwater pollution prevention plan, and a sanitary sewer report. Outstanding items include electrical and water will-serve letters, fire hydrant location, and geotechnical cut/fill analysis. A retaining wall on Marbledale Road has been redesigned with stone veneer and lowered height.
151 Marbledale Road — Lost Restaurant & Bar Corp.: The applicant proposes enclosing rooftop seating with a gable roof and glass walls set back 5 feet for year-round use, adding a basement private party room with bar and stage seating 32, and modifying the first-floor kitchen and facade. Parking requirements would increase from 64 to 75 spaces; 85 spaces are allocated, or 150 with valet. The plan also includes an emergency generator and two additional accessible bathrooms.
85 Yonkers Avenue — Office building completion: Architect Leonard Brandes presented plans to complete an office building originally approved in 2014 but delayed after the owner discharged a contractor for unauthorized facade changes. The proposal includes facade repairs to match approved plans with stone veneer and stucco quoins. Progress photos show exterior and interior framing completed. The owner is seeking contractor bids, with anticipated completion in 6-8 months.
174 Marbledale Road — Cheerleading training facility: A public hearing was scheduled for 7:00 PM on July 21 for a change of use to a cheerleading training facility. The application was submitted June 29, 2026, and marked "Submitted for denial" on June 16. The architect is Louis Campana Architect PLLC.
210 Marbledale Road — Subdivision: A subdivision site plan was listed as return/adjourned.
