Waldwick council was set to vote on Block 116 redevelopment plan; Oct. 20 agenda lists $124,881 generator contract
Waldwick's Mayor and Council scheduled a public hearing and a vote for Oct. 6 on a redevelopment plan covering Block 116, Lots 9, 16 & 18 near the NJ Transit rail station. Minutes of that special meeting have not been published, so the record available does not establish whether the plan was adopted. The next council agenda, for Oct. 20, lists several contracts and a lease ordinance.
Block 116: hearing and vote scheduled, outcome not yet posted
The Oct. 6 special meeting was set for 7:30 PM at 63 Franklin Turnpike. The agenda listed Ordinance No. 2026-#15, a public hearing and adoption of the Block 116, Lots 9, 16 & 18 Redevelopment Plan.
According to the agenda, the plan area is approximately 1.34 acres with frontage on Hewson Avenue and Walter Nightengale Place. The agenda also listed consent Resolution 2026-246, Payment of Vouchers, and stated that formal action may be taken.
Because only the agenda has been released, the vote tally and the result are not known from the available records.
