Zephyrhills Council to vote on water, sewer, sanitation rate increases
The Zephyrhills City Council will hold public hearings and vote on second readings of ordinances that would raise water, sewer, reclaimed water, and sanitation rates, effective Nov. 1, 2026. The vote is set for the council's Aug. 24 meeting, which also includes a development permit ordinance update and approval of contract amendments for road projects.

Council meeting (Aug. 10)
The council held public hearings and considered first readings of ordinances to adjust water, sewer, reclaimed water, and sanitation rates, and to update development permit procedures. The agenda also included approval of an audit services agreement with Clifton Larson Allen and construction agreements for intersection improvements at Greenslope Dr./Daugherty Rd. and Ft. King/Eiland Blvd. No votes were taken; minutes have not yet been published.
Airport Authority (Aug. 17)
The Airport Advisory Board met to elect a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, hear the airport manager's project update, and review fuel sales. The agenda was routine administrative business, including approval of the May 18, 2026 minutes.
Site Plan Review Committee (Aug. 18)
The SPRC reviewed three requests from Monin Manufacturing for a new facility north of 6th Ave & South Ave: a site plan, a conditional use permit to exceed the 30-foot height limit, and a right-of-way vacation to abandon a public road within the property. The committee discussed the items and made recommendations.

City Council (Aug. 24)
The council will hold public hearings and consider second readings of ordinances to amend water, sewer, reclaimed water, and sanitation rates, effective Nov. 1, 2026. It will also vote on a development permit ordinance update and approve consent items, including work order amendments for Kimley-Horn: $17,500 for Daugherty Rd & Green Slope Dr and $16,200 for Eiland Blvd & Fort King intersection improvements. A resolution establishing a unified municipal facility rental policy is also on the agenda.
City Council budget workshop (Aug. 24)
The council will review the FY 2027 draft budget in a working session, with a citizen comments period. No final adoption vote is scheduled.
Community Redevelopment Agency (Aug. 24)
The CRA will review the tentative FY 2026/2027 budget, consider an audit services agreement with Clifton Larson Allen, and discuss a residential ownership incentive grant for 5419 9th St. The board will also receive updates on Clock Plaza trees and reports from the CRA director and Main Street program.
