Melissa Socorro of Valhalla and Jaclyn Schneider of Greenburgh serve as the
Service Unit Managers for the Valhalla Service Unit of Girl Scouts Heart of the
Hudson. Just this month of May 2026, their unit was honored with the prestigious
“Blockbuster of Growth” Certificate of Appreciation by the Girl Scouts Heart of the
Hudson Council’s Community Engagement Team. This award recognizes the
Valhalla Service Unit for achieving the highest membership retention and new
recruitment numbers among all service units in the council — serving girls in
grades K through 12.

Champion
RESOLUTION
The Supervisor and Town Board recognized a standout athlete from Westlake High
School, Marcarlo Mannello, 2026 NY D1 HS State Wrestling Champion. He is the
youngest NY D1 HS State Champ ever (13y 4m). Marcarlo was undefeated this
season, going 40-0. He was honored with a proclamation and with a sign to be
mounted at the intersection of Columbus Ave and Nannyhagen Rd., joining other
local winning teams.

ATTORNEY DARIUS CHAFIZADEH.
Attorney Darius Chafizadeh stated executive session would be held for pending litigation for the

Jane Abbate recused herself and left the room.
Motion was made by John Piazza to break into an executive session, seconded by Steve

The Supervisor opened the meeting at 6:00 PM with a Salute to the Flag.
I. Reorganization for 2026
Annual Report Submission RESOLUTION 1-26
Upon motion of Councilwoman Zaino, seconded by Councilman Sialiano and
carried, it was,
RESOLVED: That pursuant to Town Law Section 29(10A), the Town Board
authorizes the Supervisor to file a copy of the annual financial report with the
State Comptroller and Town Clerk within the time frame allowed by the State
Comptroller's Office required by Section 30 of the General Municipal Law and
the Town Clerk shall cause a publication that a copy of the report is on file in
the Town Clerk's office within ten (10) days after receipt thereof in a form
approved by the State Comptroller, in the newspaper having circulation in the
Town of Mount Pleasant.
VOTE - AYES - Town Supervisor Fulgenzi, Councilwoman Zaino, Councilman
Sialiano, Councilman Bonanno - ABSENT - Councilman Saracino
Bank Depositories RESOLUTION 2-26
Upon motion of Councilman Sialiano, seconded by Councilman Bonanno and
carried, it was,
RESOLVED: That the following banks are designated as Depositories:
